Tamara Repetto

Tamara Repetto (*1973) is known for multimedia research-based conceptual works that draw the viewer into a dialogue with nature via their own perceptions, using a variety of material such as soil, plant roots, soap bars, hand blown glass, sound loops, olfactory pods, and programmed devices. She currently lives and works between the village of Voltaggio in Piedmont and Luxembourg.

By subtly juxtaposing different languages of art in her various works she seeks to open the way for an internal dialogue that sublimates, highlights and ultimately helps to awaken our sense of belonging to the earth, rather than being removed from it.

She earned her art degree at the Liceo Artistico Jona Ottolenghi  in Acqui Terme and later studied design at the Scuola Arte e Messaggio at Castello Sforzesco in Milan.
